Statement of Faith

We believe Jesus, God’s Messiah, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary—fully God and fully man. He is humanity as God intended us to be. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, Jesus announced and demonstrated God’s kingdom on earth: overcoming temptation, healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead, and calling disciples to form His Church—His kingdom people.

Through His sinless life and His sacrificial death on the cross, Jesus fulfilled the law and took upon Himself the judgment we deserve. He disarmed the powers of darkness and made a way for us to be reconciled with God.

Jesus fulfilled the covenant with David by His birth, ministry, resurrection, and ascension. He now reigns as the eternal King, advancing God’s kingdom through every generation and every place by the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel.

We believe that all people—men and women—are created in the image of God, with inherent dignity, purpose, and worth. We are made to reflect God’s character and to live in loving relationship with Him, one another, and all creation.
